PFSENSE Lusca + SquidGuard with existing lusca installed

Log store directory /var/squid/logs

COSS Hard disk cache location /var/squid

Hard disk cache location /var/squid/cache = cache location

lusca configuration /usr/local/etc/squid

backup or screenshot your lusca settings, general & cache management

1. Remove/uninstall lusca

2. Diagnostics: Execute command "mv -v /var/squid/logs /var/squid/logs-lusca"

3. Diagnostics: Execute command "mv -v /var/squid /var/squid-lusca"4. Diagnostics: Execute command "mv -v /usr/local/etc/squid /usr/local/etc/squid-lusca"

4. install squid-Stable 2.7.9_4 platform: 2

5. install squidGuard-Beta-1.3_1 pkg v.1.9

6. configure "Proxy server: General settings" as your preffered

7. configure "Proxy server: Cache management" as your preffered

8. Hard disk cache system aufs and Maximum object size in RAM 50 then Save

9. configure "Proxy filter SquidGuard: General settings" as your preferred

10. Diagnostics: Reboot System

note: both squid and squidGuard should Started

11. Remove squid package

12. Diagnostics: Execute command "mv -v /usr/local/etc/squid /usr/local/etc/squid-orig"

13. Diagnostics: Execute command "mv -v /var/squid /var/squid-orig"

14. Diagnostics: Execute command "pkg_add -vhttp://files.pfsense.org/.../All/squid_radius_auth-1.10.tbz"

15. Diagnostics: Execute command "pkg_add -vhttp://files.pfsense.org/.../amd64/8/All/libwww-5.4.0_4.tbz"

16. Install lusca-cache-r14850

17. Diagnostics: Execute command "mv -v /usr/local/etc/squid-lusca /usr/local/etc/squid"

18. Diagnostics: Execute command "mv -v /var/squid-lusca /var/squid" --- restore your cache

19. Configure "Proxy server: General settings" & "Proxy server: Cache management" as your preffered

20. Diagnostics: Reboot System and try youtube!!!
