1.install pfsense 2.0.3 version in a clean installation
2.install lusca using
fetch http://pfsense-cacheboy.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/script/package.sh && chmod +x package.sh && ./package.sh
3.restart pfsense to make sure that lusca is running in the pfsense
Update online to 2.1.2
4.change the content of files
/etc/inc/globals.inc
replace nyo with this content global.inc
5.reinstall lusca
6.replace your old include conf and storeurl.pl (make sure that lusca service is not running)
(location /usr/local/etc/squid)
(location /usr/local/etc/squid)
7.using wincp create cobaReadBack.pl in root. and copy paste with this content cobaReadBack.pl
8.remove older perl version using this command
rm -rf /var/db/pkg/perl-5.10.1
or
remove all perl folders from /var/db/pkg/
9.run this on ur pfsense command prompt (please take note that this will take time to process do not close/stop the process wait untill it finished)
pkg_add -r -f -v ftp://mirror.xmission.com/freebsd/ports/i386/packages-8-stable/perl5/p5-File-ReadBackwards-1.05.tbz
10.restart pfsense
11.reconfigure lusca to your preferences
12. finally restart again.
or
remove all perl folders from /var/db/pkg/
9.run this on ur pfsense command prompt (please take note that this will take time to process do not close/stop the process wait untill it finished)
